Deploy Your ReactJs Application On Vercel - Step By Step Guide

Deploying a ReactJS application on Vercel is an easy and straightforward process. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps to deploy your ReactJS application on Vercel with an example.

Step 1: Create a ReactJS Application

The first step is to create a ReactJS application. You can create a new ReactJS application using the create-react-app command in your terminal. Navigate to the folder where you want to create your application and run the following command:

npx create-react-app my-app

This will create a new ReactJS application with the name “my-app”. You can replace “my-app” with the name of your choice.

Step 2: Set Up Your GitHub Repository

To deploy your ReactJS application on Vercel, you will need to connect to a GitHub repository. If you don’t have a GitHub account, create one now. Once you have created your account, create a new repository for your ReactJS application.

Step 3: Install Vercel

Next, you will need to install the Vercel CLI. The Vercel CLI is a command-line tool that allows you to interact with Vercel from your terminal.

To install the Vercel CLI, run the following command in your terminal:

 npm install -g vercel

Step 4: Connect to Your GitHub Repository

To connect to your GitHub repository, run the following command in your terminal:

 vercel login

This will open a web page where you can log in to your Vercel account. Once you have logged in, you will be redirected back to your terminal.

Next, run the following command to link your GitHub account to Vercel:

vercel link
This will prompt you to select the GitHub repository you want to deploy. Select the repository you created earlier.
Step 5: Deploy Your Application
To deploy your ReactJS application, run the following command in your terminal:
vercel
This will build your ReactJS application and deploy it to Vercel. You will see a unique URL where your application is hosted.
Step 6: View Your Deployed Application
Once your application has been deployed, you can view it by clicking on the URL provided by Vercel. You can also share this URL with others to share your application.
Step 7: Make Changes and Redeploy
If you need to make changes to your application, simply make the changes in your code and push them to your GitHub repository. Vercel will automatically detect the changes and redeploy your application.
Conclusion
Deploying a ReactJS application on Vercel is a simple and quick process. By following the steps outlined in this tutorial, you can deploy your ReactJS application on Vercel and share it with others. The Vercel platform provides many features to help you deploy, manage, and scale your applications.
