|Install libxp.so.6 in Linux|
If you are a Linux user then you have been faced a problem, the problem name is libxp.so.6. So in this tutorial we will solve this problem in our Linux operating system.
Now, The libxp.so6 is a Linux library in Linux operating system and you will need to install this library if you missing this library in your system.
Solution of this problem is below just open your terminal and type some commands
System Environment: (Linux RHEL/CentOS)
To verify that libXp.so.6 is in /usr/lib64 directory, run the command below:
rpm -qf /usr/lib64/libXp.so.6
To install the libxp.so.6 library file run following command:
sudo yum install /usr/lib64/libXp.so.6
System Environment: (Debian/ubuntu)
If you are using the new version of ubuntu then just go to this site and download the new version of libxp6 package, open your terminal (CTRL+Alt+T) and type this command in your terminal :
$ sudo apt-get update
$ wget ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libx/libxp/libxp6_1.0.2-2_amd64.deb
after download is finished, you can install with this command, just type this in your terminal :
$ sudo dpkg -i libxp6_1.0.2-2_amd64.deb
Now, you have libxp.so.6 successfully installed !!
